BALA organized a panel with the High Inspector of Justice in Tirana. Diaspora Albanian jurists attended during the Fourth Diaspora Summit.

Metani hosted the meeting. Rusi and Çela joined the discussion.

The panel focused on justice reform and the role of the diaspora. Muharremi moderated the event.

Metani said institutions must treat the diaspora equally. He explained that oversight follows the law. He said it protects accountability and judicial independence.

Çela said diaspora lawyers must understand the prosecution system. He said reform has changed the system. He also said challenges remain.

He added that the prosecution system is decentralized. This increases complexity but strengthens independence.

Diaspora jurists asked how they can contribute. They came from the UK, France, Germany, and Switzerland.

Metani said two students will start internships in June. He said more applications are under review. He welcomed jobs, consultancy, and research cooperation.

Rusi said the High Judicial Council is open to qualified professionals. He encouraged internships and international cooperation.

Çela said Albania’s EU path needs diaspora support.

All leaders agreed. Reform has created a new justice system. It ensures independence and control. They said law must guide decisions.
