The Albanian Parliament approved Albania’s participation in a peacekeeping mission as part of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.
Following the parliamentary vote, Defense Minister Ermal Nufi described the decision as a step that turns Albania’s commitment to peace into a concrete contribution on the ground.

The minister also stressed that Albania, as a US ally, will contribute to peace efforts and international security.
“As a committed ally, Albania stands shoulder to shoulder with the United States in efforts for peace, with responsibility, solidarity and a contribution to international security,” Nufi said.
Meanwhile, Parliament approved today, with 107 votes in favor, the bill “On the participation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania in the military operation of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.”
