Albania’s U-17 women’s national team begins its training camp today as the squad prepares for the first round of the 2027 UEFA Women’s U-17 European Championship qualifiers.
Head coach Cyme Lulaj has announced a 20-player squad for Albania’s matches against Kosovo, Ireland and Azerbaijan.
The young Reds and Blacks will train in Durrës. They will play their first match against Kosovo on Sept. 28 at 15:00 at the “Niko Dovana” Stadium.
Meanwhile, the same stadium will host Albania’s next two group matches. Albania will face Ireland on Oct. 1 at 15:00 before taking on Azerbaijan on Oct. 4 at 12:00.
The other group matches will also take place in Albania, at the “Egnatia Arena” Stadium.
Albania’s U-17 team, led by coach Cyme Lulaj, competes in League B. The team aims to finish first in the group and secure promotion to League A for the second round of the European Championship qualifiers.
