US Embassy Welcomes New Ambassador Eric Wendt

The new United States Ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt, officially presented his credentials to President Bajram Begaj this Saturday.

In an official statement, the US Embassy in Tirana welcomed the new ambassador, noting that during his meeting with President Begaj, the strong strategic partnership between the two countries was reaffirmed.

“Welcome, Ambassador Wendt! The new United States Ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt, presented his credentials to President Bajram Begaj. Ambassador Wendt and President Begaj reaffirmed the strong partnership between the United States and Albania and discussed advancing the priorities of President Donald J. Trump’s administration, including defense cooperation, economic growth, and combating transnational criminal organizations,” the Embassy wrote.
