Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the Transparency Dashboard will publish all information about the Zvërnec investment project in the coming days.

At a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Rama also provided an update on the project. He said the government now awaits a detailed environmental study.

“I also briefed the Commission President on the progress of this major investment project, which has attracted significant public interest,” Rama said.

Meanwhile, he said the government expects the detailed environmental study soon. He also outlined steps to increase transparency and improve communication with the Albanian public through new technology.

In the coming days, Rama said, the government will activate the Transparency Dashboard. The platform will provide full access to documents and information about the entire process surrounding the widely discussed project.

In addition, Rama said the meeting addressed Albania’s efforts to fight organized crime and corruption.

He stressed that the fight against crime and corruption remains a central priority for both the Albanian government and the European Union, particularly for candidate countries.

Finally, Rama said Albania has made progress in this area.

“We jointly noted with satisfaction that Albania now clearly understands that, if corruption was once the system, today the system is fighting corruption,” Rama said.
