Ambassador Eric Wendt Meets Minister Hoxha, U.S.-Albania Partnership Praised

Ambassador Eric Wendt met with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha, the U.S. Embassy announced in a Facebook post.

According to the statement, the meeting focused on highlighting the more than 100-year relationship between the United States and Albania, as well as discussing the expansion of trade, energy security, and stronger people-to-people ties.

“A historic partnership with a shared vision for the future.

Ambassador Eric Wendt met with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha to celebrate a relationship spanning more than 100 years.

From President Wilson’s support for an independent Albania to our cooperation today as NATO Allies, we continue to expand cooperation in trade, energy security, and people-to-people ties, strengthening peace and stability across the Western Balkans.”
