Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Sunday that more than 127,000 searches were recorded within 24 hours of the launch of the “Flamingo Mirror” platform, which he described as marking a new era of transparency.
In a Facebook post, Rama said that in its first 24 hours, “Flamingo Mirror” recorded 3,397 page searches, more than 127,000 searches across the platform and 49 new questions.
According to Rama, “Flamingo Mirror” was also targeted by 122 cyberattacks from 32 foreign addresses, which he said were repelled without causing any damage.
“This is only the beginning of a transparent confrontation between the facts of governance and the anti-state mudslinging on social media channels,” Rama wrote.
The “Flamingo Mirror” platform will serve as a public online portal where citizens can access documents, data, legal references, the status of ongoing processes, and detailed information on issues and projects of public interest.
