Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the “Flamingo Mirror” platform recorded more than 127,000 searches within its first 24 hours online. He described the platform as marking a new era of transparency.
In a social media post, Rama said that “Flamingo Mirror” recorded 3,397 page searches during its first 24 hours. The platform also registered more than 127,000 total searches and 49 new questions.
Meanwhile, Rama said the platform also faced 122 cyberattacks from 32 foreign addresses. According to the prime minister, the platform repelled all of the attacks without suffering any damage.
Rama described the figures as the beginning of what he called a transparent confrontation between government facts and what he referred to as “anti-state” content on social media channels.
The “Flamingo Mirror” platform forms part of the new “Pasqyrë Albania” platform. It aims to provide greater public access to government files and official documentation.
Through “Flamingo Mirror,” citizens will be able to access documents, data, legal references, process updates and detailed information about public-interest issues and projects.
During the platform’s presentation a day earlier, Rama said that “Flamingo Mirror” remains under development. However, he said the platform will serve as a public resource where citizens can consult documents and materials contained in government files.
