The Albanian national football team has returned to training after coming back from Finland. The Red and Black squad held its latest session at the House of Football as it prepares for the upcoming match against San Marino.
The coaching staff divided the squad into two groups. Players who did not feature in Finland completed a full training session. Meanwhile, those who started the match focused on recovery and physiotherapy.
According to the Communication Department of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), the national team has made several changes to its squad. Midfielder Feta Fetai and defender Samuele Sina will leave the senior team to join the Albania U-21 squad. They will be available to coach Alban Bushi for the friendly against Ukraine, which will take place tomorrow at 15:30 in Hungary.
Meanwhile, midfielder Luis Hasa has recovered from his health problems. He joined the group in training today and will also be available for Albania’s fourth UEFA Nations League match.
In addition, coach Rolando Maran has called up goalkeeper Simon Simoni to replace the suspended Etrit Berisha. Simoni joined the team’s training session today and will be available for the match against San Marino.
Albania will face San Marino on October 6 at 20:45. The match will take place at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana.
