Prime Minister Edi Rama has revealed one of the wishes he hopes to fulfill after leaving office, admitting that he dreams of putting an end to his constant presence on social media.
During the latest episode of his “Flasim” podcast, while speaking with his guests, Rama openly expressed his envy of one of them, who said he stays away from social media. The Prime Minister used the moment to share one of his personal plans for life after politics.
“I envy you so much. One of the things I dream of for the day I leave this position, which forces me to be present on every platform, is to say goodbye to social media,” Rama said.
The Prime Minister’s statement highlights the contrast between the constant public exposure required by his position and his desire to step away from that attention in the future. For Rama, leaving office also appears to represent an opportunity to move on from a reality in which being present in the public eye and on social media is almost unavoidable.
In the same episode of “Flasim”, Rama also spoke about the changes that, according to him, Malësia e Madhe and Përmet have undergone over the past decade. He cited the two areas as examples of Albania’s transformation, recalling that a decade ago they were perceived as remote places with little reason to visit.
