Deputy PM Koçiu: Dialogue builds cooperation, while violence causes damage

Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has stressed the importance of dialogue as a path to solutions instead of violence. She made the remarks in a social media post as youth protests in Tirana continued for a ninth day, accompanied by acts of violence.

Koçiu drew a distinction between the two approaches. She described dialogue as a form of communication that creates opportunities for cooperation, while violence involves the use of force and causes damage.

“Dialogue and violence are not simply two words in the dictionary, but two choices. One builds bridges of cooperation and opens the way to solutions, while the other brings only damage,” Koçiu said.
