More than 20 psychologists offer support to students and minors

The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Order of Psychologists, has made a team of more than 20 psychologists available to support people emotionally affected by recent events.

The service targets citizens, young people, minors and school students exposed to various forms of violent language and acts. Psychologists will provide a listening ear, emotional support and professional assistance. They will ensure confidentiality and a non-judgmental approach.

The Order of Psychologists has provided a preliminary list of professionals who have volunteered to offer the service. The initiative responds to public needs amid tension, uncertainty and emotional distress.

The Ministry said the team stands ready to provide support according to individual needs and cases requiring professional attention. It stressed that mental health care also means protecting people’s dignity and well-being.
