Rama Meets Young Man with Disability, Calls for Peaceful Dialogue

Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared footage of his meeting with a young man with a disability, describing him as “a special visitor with no stones in his pockets, but with his heart in the right place.”

In a social media post, Rama said the young man had contacted him and asked to meet.

Despite their potentially differing views, the prime minister stressed the importance of peaceful dialogue and mutual understanding.

“A person who wants to meet me for the pleasure of it,” Rama said.

The young man acknowledged that not everyone agreed with his decision to meet the prime minister. However, he said he personally supported the meeting.

“That is democracy! As long as we meet in peace and with smiles, not with stones and fire,” Rama said. He also told the young man that they would stay in touch.
