Protesters Overturn Benches Outside Prime Minister’s Office, Rama Reacts on Social Media

The stone benches placed outside the Prime Minister’s Office as part of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s invitation for dialogue have been overturned during today’s protest.

Earlier, the Prime Minister had shared images of the benches, where he had placed invitations for dialogue with protesters. However, his call has not led to an end to the protests, as tensions between the two sides continue this Thursday.

Following the incident, Rama reacted on social media, posting a video of what happened and sarcastically referring to the protest participants.

“And the ‘lecturers’ came again,” the head of government wrote, placing the word “lecturers” in quotation marks.
