Albania’s Nations League match against Belarus in Budapest to be played behind closed doors

Albania will play their final Group C1 match in League C of the UEFA Nations League against Belarus on November 15 at the Illovszky Rudolf Stadium in Budapest, Hungary.

The match will take place without spectators due to UEFA sanctions against Belarus.

Under a decision adopted by the UEFA Executive Committee on March 3, 2022, which remains in force, Belarusian clubs and national teams must play their home matches at neutral venues. The decision also requires these matches to take place without spectators.

As a result, the Belarus-Albania match in Budapest will not be open to the public. Albanian fans will not be able to watch the game from the stands, even though the match will take place outside Belarusian territory.

Albania will conclude their UEFA Nations League group-stage campaign with this away fixture, which will be important in determining the outcome of their Group C1 campaign.
