Albania and India explore new avenues for tourism cooperation

TIRANA, Nov 6 /ATA/ On the sidelines of the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026 international tourism fair, National Tourism Agency Director-General Jola Hysaj held a meeting with India’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

The talks focused on strengthening tourism relations and cooperation between Albania and India through the exchange of experiences and the identification of new opportunities for the mutual promotion of their tourist destinations.

The two sides discussed the potential for expanding cooperation in the tourism sector, with a view to establishing new channels of communication and promotion between the two countries.

Albania’s participation in WTM London 2026 provides an opportunity to broaden its international contacts and showcase its tourism potential in new markets, including India.
