Intermittent rain expected across Albania

TIRANA, April 1 – The Military Weather Service announced that Albania will experience unstable atmospheric conditions on Wednesday.

Clouds will range from moderate to dense, with brief sunny intervals over the Western Lowlands. Rain will occur intermittently during the first 24 hours and remain generally light across much of the country.

Short, isolated showers may turn into thunderstorms in some areas. Snow is expected in the Alps, northeast, east, and southeast at altitudes above 1,200–1,500 meters.

Winds will blow from northeast to southeast at an average speed of 10 m/s. Along the coast and in valleys, gusts may reach 22 m/s, causing waves of force 4–6 on the sea.
