Albania inaugurated the Belgium–EU–Albania Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUBACCI) at its embassy in Belgium, creating a new platform to strengthen economic ties and trade relations between Albania, Belgium, and the European Union.
The event brought together business leaders, institutional representatives, and Belgian agencies, including HUB Brussels and AWEX, fostering a space for direct economic dialogue and partnership.
Eneida Rrapaj, President of the Chamber, outlined EUBACCI’s mission and vision, emphasizing its role in connecting businesses and institutions. Albania’s Ambassador to Belgium, Albana Dautllari, highlighted the embassy’s full support for the initiative, calling it strategically important for economic and diplomatic relations.
Key Albanian representatives also participated, including Laura Plaku, Director of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA); Julian Adili, Director of ADDRE; Florensa Haxhi, Director of Durana Tech Park; and Dritan Delija, Director of TEDS Tirana. They showcased investment opportunities in Albania for Belgian and European companies.
EUBACCI will serve as a bridge, promoting collaboration, information exchange, and economic development. Its establishment marks a strategic step to increase competitiveness, expand markets, and improve Albania’s investment climate.
