Expropriations Approved for Infrastructure Projects in Elbasan, Shkodër, and Mat

The Council of Ministers approved expropriations for public interest linked to key infrastructure projects.

Elbasan-Lekaj Road, Corridor 8, Lot I (Phases I-III): Owners will receive full compensation of 46,241,507.4 lekë. The expropriation goes to the Albanian Road Authority.

“Marin Beçikemi” Road Reconstruction, Shkodër: The property owner receives 859,611 lekë. The expropriation benefits Shkodër Municipality.

Ulëz Lake Natural Park, Mat: Private landowners affected by the protected area project will receive 4,041,111.70 lekë. The expropriation goes to the Ministry of Environment.

The government emphasizes that these actions serve public interest while ensuring full compensation.
