World Autism Day: Awareness Event at COD

The Center for Openness and Dialogue (COD) held an awareness event today for World Autism Day.

The event was organized with the National Club of Parents of Children with ASD & P.A.K. and the “Asim Vokshi” Linguistic High School. The goal was to raise public awareness and promote inclusion of young people on the spectrum in social-impact initiatives.

Young participants performed self-written songs in a mini-concert with guitars. Two talented young painters created artworks live during the event, dedicated to the day.

Parents discussed the challenges of raising a child on the spectrum in Albania. They also highlighted available support and suggested improvements.
