Foreign Affairs Ministry Warns of Fake Visa Website and Urges Use of Official Platform

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announced today that it identified a website during its ongoing monitoring of open online sources. The site contains materials similar to those published on the institution’s official page for entry visas.

The website is: https://evisia-al.com/albaniavisaenquirylive/

Moreover, the Ministry clarified that this site includes content resembling the official platform for foreign citizens applying for entry visas to the Republic of Albania. However, it stressed that the site is not official. It is not authorized by Albanian state authorities to provide information or services related to visa procedures.

Furthermore, the Ministry stated that the only official website for Albanian electronic visa applications is: https://e-visa.al/

Therefore, the Ministry urges citizens and all interested individuals to remain cautious. It advises them to use only official sources for applications and information to avoid potential misuse.

In addition, cybersecurity authorities and law enforcement bodies are taking action. They aim to block any illegal activity and identify and prosecute those responsible in accordance with the law.

Finally, the Ministry confirmed that it is closely following the case and will take all necessary measures.
