Tirana parking services go digital with new mobile app

TIRANA, April 8 – Parking services in Tirana have moved to a fully digital system, allowing users to access all services through the “Tirana Parking” mobile application. Authorities say the platform aims to simplify procedures and improve access for residents.

Through the app, users can apply for resident parking permits, request paid reserved parking spaces, and manage or renew subscriptions. They can also track the status of their applications in real time. The system removes the need for physical counters, paperwork, and long waiting times.

Officials describe the platform as part of a broader push to modernise public services. By shifting procedures online, the system seeks to increase transparency, reduce administrative steps, and improve the overall user experience.

The application also includes data protection measures aligned with current public administration standards. Authorities say digitalisation remains a priority as the city works to build more efficient and accessible services.

The launch marks a further step in Tirana’s efforts to streamline parking management and bring services closer to citizens through technology.
