World Cup 2027: Women’s national team starts preparations for Wales matches

The women’s national team returned to the field today. It resumed training one month after the last match. Now, the squad prepares for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Armir Grima gathered the team in Tirana. The players will train at the “House of Football.” They prepare for two important matches against Wales.

Twenty-two players joined the first session. Alma Hilaj will arrive in the evening. The team immediately started training. They worked with high intensity for the upcoming games.

The squad will continue preparations in Tirana. Then, on Saturday, it will travel to Wales. The first match will take place on April 14 at 20:15.

The return match will follow in Albania. It will be played at “Elbasan Arena” at 18:00.

Both matches will be broadcast on FSHF TV.
