Special Court cancels two hearings in Thaçi case over obstruction of justice

The Special Court announced this Wednesday that the hearings scheduled for next week in the case against former president Hashim Thaçi for obstruction of justice have been cancelled.

According to the statement, the hearings had been set for April 14 and 17.

“Thaçi and others have had their hearings scheduled for next week cancelled. We inform you that the hearings planned for April 14–17, 2026, in the case against Thaçi and others in relation to charges of criminal offences against the administration of justice, have been cancelled. Further information will be provided as soon as it becomes available,” the Special Court said in its announcement.
