Seferi: Gender equality is a shared responsibility

The sixth National Forum “Boys and Men Who Inspire” took place today in Tirana.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection described the forum as a strong platform. It promotes dialogue, reflection, and action. It supports gender equality. It also helps prevent gender-based violence.

Deputy Minister Denada Seferi attended the event. She said gender equality is not only a women’s issue. She said it is a shared responsibility.

“Men and boys must take an active role,” Seferi said. “They should act as partners, allies, and agents of change in families, communities, and society.”

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection organized the forum. UNFPA Albania and the “Voice of Youth” Network cooperated. The Government of Italy supported the event through the Italian Agency for Cooperation.
