Government Approves Rules for the Organization of Gambling Activities

The Council of Ministers approved this Friday the rules for the organization and functioning of the Project Support Council, a new structure established under the Gambling Supervision Authority.

The decision defines in detail the procedures for establishing, organizing, and operating this council, which will play a key role in supporting and financing projects in this sector.

According to the decision, the conditions and requirements that entities must meet in order to benefit from funding have also been set, along with the necessary documentation for application. Another important element is the procedure that will be followed for the review and evaluation of projects, aiming to ensure transparency and objectivity.

The creation of this council aims to strengthen support mechanisms for various initiatives by ensuring a structured and clear process for selecting projects to be funded.

This decision enters into force immediately and is expected to contribute to improving management and oversight standards in the gambling sector in the country.
