Rama: Tourism interest rises, prices must follow long-term vision

Edi Rama met tourism operators in Vlora. He focused on tourism growth and investment strategy.First, he said tourism demand continues to grow. He added that Albania can attract visitors beyond the summer season.

Moreover, he said investment interest is increasing. Therefore, he urged operators to use this opportunity. In addition, he called for a medium-term strategy. So, he encouraged businesses to plan beyond short-term profit.

Furthermore, he warned that poor service harms tourism. He said bad experiences stop visitors from returning. As a result, he said reputation directly affects future growth.

Also, he explained that the government does not set prices. Instead, the market decides them. Moreover, he advised investors to think long term. He said tourism requires large investments and slow returns.

However, he warned against unrealistic pricing. He said high prices with low quality damage destinations. Finally, he said Vlora must avoid becoming an expensive but low-value destination. He urged operators to build sustainable tourism for future generations.
