Transparency Board Issues New Decision: Fuel Prices Increase

The Transparency Board, in its meeting held on April 14, 2026, has decided to revise the maximum retail and wholesale prices for petroleum by-products.

According to the decision:

  • Gasoil (standard SSH EN 590)
    The retail price will be no higher than 215 ALL per liter, while the wholesale price will be no higher than 203 ALL per liter.
  • Gasoline (standard SSH EN)
    The retail price will be no higher than 178 ALL per liter, while the wholesale price will be no higher than 166 ALL per liter.

The new prices enter into force today, April 14, at 15:00, and will remain valid until the next Board meeting, where they will be reviewed depending on market changes.

The Board emphasized that all wholesale and retail operators are required to comply with the decision. In cases of violations, suspension of activity is (enforced).

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, continue to be engaged in protecting consumers and ensuring fair competition in the market.
