Gonxhja promotes “Sociological Record” exhibition at Marubi Museum

Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Blendi Gonxhja highlighted the exhibition “Sociological Record” at the Marubi Museum in Shkodër.

He described it as a unique opportunity for visitors who enjoy stories behind photographs and historical visual journeys.

The exhibition presents hidden worlds inside homes, faces, and memories from Albania in the early 1960s.

Polish photographer Zofia Rydet launched the project “Sociological Record” at the age of 67. She created more than 20,000 photographs across Poland and other countries.

She documented rural life and the disappearance of traditions. She created one of the most important photographic archives of the 20th century.

The exhibition remains open at the National Museum of Photography “Marubi” until June 7, 2026.
