Weather forecast indicates unstable conditions with light rain expected in Albania

TIRANA, April 16 – The Military Meteorological Service reported on Thursday unstable atmospheric conditions across Albania. Cloud cover will range from moderate to dense, with intermittent clear spells developing during the day.

Light and occasional rainfall is expected from midday through the afternoon hours. Northern regions and mountainous areas in central and southern Albania will see the highest likelihood of precipitation. High-altitude zones may experience short-lived thunderstorms during peak periods. Rainfall is expected to gradually stop across the country after the late afternoon.

Northwesterly and northeasterly winds will dominate the weather pattern with an average speed of around 6 meters per second. Along coastal areas and in valleys, wind speeds may temporarily reach up to 14 meters per second. Sea conditions will remain slight, with wave intensity at force 2 to 3 on the Beaufort scale.
