Rama ends Italy visit, meets Meloni and Defense Minister Crosetto

Prime Minister Edi Rama visited Italy. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni welcomed him in an official ceremony at Palazzo Chigi. They then held a one-on-one meeting.

They discussed bilateral cooperation. They focused on deepening relations. They also addressed regional and European issues of common interest.

Rama also met Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto. After the meetings, he shared a photo album from the visit in Rome.

After Rome, Rama will travel to Barcelona. He will continue international engagements and strengthen cooperation with European partners.

He will attend the fourth “In Defense of Democracy” Summit. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez invited him. The summit will take place in Barcelona.

Discussions will focus on institutions and multilateralism. Leaders will also address disinformation and digital technology. They will examine digital regulation, democratic resilience, and inequality.

During the summit, Rama will hold bilateral meetings. He will meet Prime Minister Sanchez. He will also meet European Council President António Costa.
