Begaj meets Diaspora Council in Tirana, highlights national identity preservation

TIRANA, April 17 – President Bajram Begaj met the Coordinating Council of Diaspora in Tirana after the fourth diaspora summit. The meeting took place at the Presidential Institution following the closing of the event. Officials focused on diaspora engagement and cultural identity.

Begaj praised the contribution of diaspora members across countries. He said many continue to promote Albanian interests despite challenges abroad. He stressed commitment to language, identity and national values.

The Coordinating Council of Diaspora thanked the President for institutional support. Members highlighted his role in strengthening ties between diaspora communities and Albania. They also noted improved cooperation among diaspora networks.

The Presidency reaffirmed its focus on diaspora engagement policies. It underlined continued cooperation with diaspora representatives in future initiatives.
