Hoxha: Diplomacy key to stability and EU integration of Albania

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha attended the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (17–18 April 2026). He called diplomacy the strongest tool in times of crisis.

He said diplomacy promotes dialogue and builds trust. It also advances peace and stability. Hoxha held multiple bilateral meetings with EU partners. He reaffirmed Albania’s strong commitment to European integration.

He stressed regional cooperation as a necessity, not an option. He linked it to stability and EU integration. He highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue. He emphasized mutual trust and concrete results between regional countries.

He also joined the “Balkan Peace Platform” for the first time. The initiative was launched by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The platform aims to strengthen regional dialogue and promote a culture of peace in the Balkans.

Hoxha said diplomacy remains the main instrument of stability in a fragmented world. He called for sustained cooperation and strategic dialogue.

He concluded that collective responsibility can turn uncertainty into stability and support lasting peace.
