Prime Minister Edi Rama said the “Park of Faith” will attract tourists to Tirana. He described the project as a strong magnet for the Petrela area. He added that the park will develop step by step as vegetation grows.
Rama noted a strong rise in tourist numbers in March. He said Albania can attract visitors shifting from Gulf countries, Turkey, and Cyprus.
The project will promote interfaith harmony through nature. The park will cover 120,000 square meters in the hills of Petrela. It will include spaces representing different religions. Each faith will have its own path and symbolic elements.
Authorities will build the park on a former military site. The project aims to boost tourism and the local economy.
