Kosovo boxers compete in World Boxing Cup Brazil 2026

Shpëtim Bajoku and Donjeta Sadiku represent Kosovo at the World Boxing Cup Brazil 2026 in Foz do Iguaçu.

The tournament runs from April 20 to April 27, 2026, and brings together elite boxers from around the world. It features 49 countries and 342 athletes, making it the largest edition in the competition’s history.

Bajoku competes in the 65 kg category. He faces Canada’s Gabriel Labrie in a tough bout on April 21.

Sadiku competes in the 60 kg women’s category. She advances directly to the next round and will face New Zealand’s Jordan Wilson on April 22.

The competition marks the first World Boxing Cup event of 2026. It also plays a key role in Olympic qualification for Los Angeles 2028, as athletes earn ranking points that affect their Olympic path.
