TIRANA, April 22 – Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reaffirmed support for Albania’s European Union accession after meeting Edi Rama in Athens.
Speaking after the talks, Mitsotakis described the meeting as an opportunity to advance bilateral relations. He said both sides can address outstanding issues and build what he called a genuine partnership between the two countries.
The meeting took place during Rama’s working visit to the Greek capital. Discussions focused on strengthening ties and moving toward a new strategic partnership framework between Albania and Greece.
Albania’s prime minister said both governments remain committed to resolving long-standing issues. He added that the goal is to elevate bilateral relations to a higher level of cooperation.
