Municipality promises support with procedures and infrastructure

Emiriana Sako met farmers in Katundi i Ri to discuss agricultural development.

She said farmers should form Agricultural Cooperation Societies to strengthen the sector. She explained that these groups help farmers access financing, subsidies, and rural development programs more easily.

Moreover, she stressed the role of the local government. She said the municipality will simplify procedures, provide technical support, and improve agricultural infrastructure.

Farmers shared their concerns and needs during the meeting. They said the initiative could support more sustainable agricultural growth in the area.

Finally, both sides agreed to continue cooperation and take concrete steps to establish functional cooperation societies in Katundi i Ri.
