Himara to open tourist season on May 1–3

Himara will open the tourist season on May 1–3. The coastal city will welcome local and foreign visitors. The three-day event will create a festive atmosphere in the southern destination.

The program will promote the area’s history, cultural heritage, pristine beaches, traditions, and rich Albanian cuisine. Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports Blendi Gonxhja announced a series of sports and cultural activities. Organizers will also hold fairs and exhibitions with local products and crafts.

The program includes water sports, children’s entertainment areas, and live concerts. These events will bring the energy of the upcoming summer.

For three days, the city will host sports and cultural activities, fairs, exhibitions, water sports, children’s corners, and music concerts. The opening aims to combine history, culture, beaches, tradition, and cuisine in one experience.
