Hoxha meets Greek business leaders at Delphi Forum

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met representatives of the Greek Businessmen’s Union at the Delphi Economic Forum. The meeting focused on economic diplomacy and Albania’s potential for foreign investment.

Hoxha said Albania offers an open market and a dynamic economy that is increasingly friendly to foreign investors. He highlighted the opportunities and guarantees the country provides for international business.

He stressed that economic and trade relations between Albania and Greece continue to strengthen on a stable and mutually beneficial basis. Greece is currently Albania’s third-largest trading partner. Trade exchanges have increased in 2025 and in the first months of 2026.

Hoxha noted that Greek investments in Albania are also growing. More than 800 Greek companies currently operate in the country, especially in key economic and employment sectors.

He said the potential for cooperation remains even greater. He called for stronger engagement, networking, and innovation to expand economic ties further.

He also underlined that the Albanian community in Greece serves as an important bridge between the two countries, supporting long-term strategic cooperation and mutual benefit.
