A team from the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has traveled to Gaza to conduct a reconnaissance mission in the area where its troops are expected to be deployed as part of an international peacekeeping mission.
According to the announcement, the commander of the FSK, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, sent the team with the aim of carrying out a preliminary on-site assessment and coordinating activities for the deployment of the Kosovo contingent, which will operate במסגרת the International Stabilization Forces (ISF) in Gaza.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with authorities responsible for the administration of Gaza, as well as with representatives of the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC), which operates under the supervision of the Peace Board, in accordance with United Nations Resolution 2803.
