Marubi Museum joins Milan-based international photography network

TIRANA, April 29 – The National Museum of Photography “Marubi” joins Rete Fotografia, an international network based in Milan that brings together institutions and organisations active in the field of photography.

The museum describes the membership as an important development for Albanian photography. It highlights new opportunities for international visibility and professional cooperation.

Rete Fotografia promotes collaboration, professional exchange, and the development of photographic culture. It does so through activities, conferences, and international initiatives. The inclusion of “Marubi” strengthens the presentation of Albania’s photographic heritage in an international context.

The network was founded in January 2011 on the initiative of a group of organisations and institutions. These include photography associations, chambers of commerce, corporations, photographic archives, libraries, and foundations. They share the goal of promoting and expanding photographic culture.
