Tirana International Airport (TIA) recorded over 817,000 passengers and 4,708 flights in March, connecting to 80 destinations across 27 countries.
The data show strong travel demand and continued growth in air traffic through Tirana.
The most requested destinations were Milan, London, Rome, Pisa, and Bologna, reflecting high travel flows between Albania and Italy and the United Kingdom.
New destinations also joined the network this month, including Santander, Dublin, Liverpool, Billund, Bratislava, and Ankara, expanding international connectivity.
TIA continues to serve as the main air gateway for Albania, offering increasing travel options for passengers.
According to the International Council of Airports, TIA handled 11.6 million passengers in 2025, marking an 8.7% increase compared to 2024.
During 2025, the airport added 15 new destinations and 7 partner airlines, strengthening its position as a key regional transport hub.
