Rama Highlights Justice Reform as Tirana Prepares Legal Forum

Prime Minister Edi Rama says Tirana hosts a key international event this week focused on the rule of law and the future of justice.

Rama announces that an event on May 6–7 in Tirana will serve as a preview of the World Law Congress, which will take place next year in cooperation with the World Jurist Association.

He says the congress brings together political leaders, jurists, and legal experts from around the world under the patronage of King Felipe VI of Spain.

Rama says Albania hosts the event due to recognition of its justice reform process and its advanced stage of implementation.

He says the justice reform has required strong political will, difficult decisions, and deep structural changes.

Rama says the parliamentary majority has supported and secured the reform process.

He adds that hosting a global rule of law platform in Albania represents an important moment and a source of national pride.
