TIRANA, May 5 – The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs condemned recent missile and drone attacks carried out by Iran against the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, the Ministry said the strikes targeted critical infrastructure, including energy facilities. It added that these actions violate sovereignty and international law.
The Ministry says Albania expressed full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, its leadership, and its people. The Ministry also extended support to partners across the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the statement said such attacks remain unacceptable and risk further destabilising the region.
In addition, the Ministry stressed that security in the Middle East directly affects Europe and beyond. It called for restraint, de-escalation, and renewed diplomatic engagement.
Finally, the Ministry said Albania will continue close cooperation with its partners to promote stability, peace, and security in the region.
