Weather forecast: unstable conditions today with rain in mountainous areas

TIRANA, May 11 – The Military Meteorological Service said Albania will face relatively unstable atmospheric conditions today.

The weather will feature periods of clear skies combined with moderate and at times dense cloudiness. The cloud cover will be more pronounced in the eastern mountainous areas.

During midday and afternoon hours, scattered light rainfall is expected in mountainous regions. In isolated areas, short-lived thunderstorms may also develop.
Meanwhile, wind will blow from the southeast–southwest at an average speed of 6 m/s. Along the coastline and in valley areas, wind speeds may temporarily reach up to 14 m/s. Sea waves are expected to reach force 3–4.
