TIRANA, May 14 – Albanian Eurovision representative Alis performs tonight in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. He takes the stage with the song “Nan” [Mother], as Albania competes for a place in the Grand Final. The show airs live on Albanian Radio and Television at 21:00.
Turning to the performance, Alis presents the song “Nan” after completing the final rehearsal a day earlier. The entry carries a message focused on the role of the mother in the Albanian family. It combines emotional lyrics with traditional-inspired musical elements.
In addition, the official video for “Nan” has received positive attention for its symbolism and emotional tone. It frames the performance as a wider narrative about love, sacrifice and family bonds.
Meanwhile, Albania enters the competition alongside 14 other countries, including Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Romania, Luxembourg, Czechia, Armenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, Malta and Norway.
Austria, France and the United Kingdom automatically qualify for the final. They also perform and vote during the second semi-final.
