TIRANA, May 14 – Albania turns its attention to Vienna tonight as Eurovision 2026 enters its second semi-final, with artist Alis set to perform the song “Nân”.
Prime Minister Edi Rama called on the public and the Albanian diaspora to support the country’s entry. He urged voters to choose number 13 for Albania and stressed the importance of strong engagement in the contest.
“Let us support our artist and representative at Eurovision, Alis, and make the Albanian voice heard across Europe and beyond,” Rama wrote.
Turning to voting rules, Rama highlighted the role of the diaspora, where Albania competes under code 13 according to Eurovision regulations.
On stage, Alis will present a performance built around the figure of the mother. The song combines emotional storytelling with Albanian musical elements.
For audiences abroad, voting opens during the live broadcast once televoting starts. Viewers vote for Albania using code 13. In non-participating countries, audiences can vote online through the official platform esc.vote.
Online voting opened at midnight and closes shortly before the live show begins. SMS voting opens after all performances and remains active for around 18 minutes.
The show airs live in Albania on RTSH1 HD, RTSH Muzikë and Radio Tirana 1.
