Bajram Begaj: Albania encourages Kuwaiti investment in strategic sectors

Bajram Begaj received today the credentials of the Ambassador of Kuwait, Mohsen Alajmi, in Tirana.

He welcomed the ambassador and expressed confidence in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Furthermore, Begaj reaffirmed Albania’s solidarity with Kuwait in the face of recent attacks from Iran. He described them as a clear violation of sovereignty and international law.

He also praised Kuwait’s support for Albanian citizens living in Kuwait. In addition, he said bilateral relations are at a very good level.

He highlighted Kuwaiti humanitarian and development projects in Albania. Begaj said these joint initiatives should continue and expand.

Moreover, he encouraged increased mutual visits to strengthen cooperation. He stated that Albania encourages Kuwaiti investors to use existing opportunities to invest in strategic sectors.

He also expressed readiness to convene a joint intergovernmental economic commission.

Finally, the meeting also discussed international cooperation and Kuwait’s support for Kosovo, as well as coordination within UN organizations.
