Bajram Begaj: EU integration resolution is an important act of parliamentary cooperation

Bajram Begaj welcomed the Albanian Parliament’s resolution on the European Union membership process.

He described it as an appropriate response to the 2025 European Commission progress report on Albania and to the report of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

Furthermore, Begaj said the resolution reflects the only correct approach: cooperation, compromise and consensus on a key national strategic objective.

He made the statement on social media. According to him, the resolution represents strong evidence of serious and responsible politics.

He said this approach is fully focused on Albania’s reform agenda and its democratic, institutional, economic and social transformation.

In addition, Begaj praised the resolution as an important act of parliamentary cooperation.

The resolution, approved by Parliament, calls for broad cooperation and joint commitment to advance Albania’s EU accession process. It also highlights the need for inclusive political and social dialogue.

The goal is to secure a national consensus on European priorities through continuous dialogue.
