Gonxhja: Prishtina and Durrës Ready to Write a Historic Chapter in Mediterranean Sport

Blendi Gonxhja held an important working meeting with officials involved in the preparations for the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030.

First, the meeting included Julian Pace Bonello, as well as representatives of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games, Kosovo’s Olympic Committee, and Albania’s Olympic leadership.

Moreover, discussions focused on coordination and inspections for the upcoming Games. In this context, Durrës was highlighted as a key supporting city, especially for water sports events.

In addition, participants emphasized strong regional cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in organizing the event.

Furthermore, Bonello praised the hospitality and progress of Albanian sport and welcomed the strategic cooperation for the success of Prishtina 2030.

Finally, Gonxhja said that Prishtina and Durrës are ready to write a historic chapter for Mediterranean sport, marking one of the biggest international sporting events ever hosted in Kosovo.
